Turyon Development Services

We have been developing custom OsiriX plugin for some customers in last months. That's the reason we decide to make it official, as a Turyon Service.

Here, some examples of the plugins that our happy customers asked for:

• Integration with RIS. Some customers asked us how they could integrate OsiriX with their current RIS installation, often Windows-based or Web-based. You can do the same, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it we will take care of your project.
• Integration with remote Web-based (php) Reporting system. 
• Converting PDF files to DICOM (identifying the patient) importing to OsiriX and then send them to the PACS. All this jobs are completeley automatized. You can see here a screenshot:

• Exporting images with and withour ROI to iPhoto.
• Open images in different windows depending on type of study, some sort of Hanging Protocols for OsiriX. Specially designed for Mammography studies (open left and right breast...)
• Plugin for running scripts or apps (automator workflows, applescript...). This plugin called RunScript is completely free and available in the OsiriX Plugin Manager.

• IsiX Teleradiology. That's a new whole world for OsiriX. With IsiX (plugin and server) you can coordinate any number of doctors to provide true Teleradiology. This plugin will connect to your IsiX Server or HoruX Manager (both new products from Turyon). Once the user (doctor) is authenticated then the IsiX plugin will donwload all pendant studies assigned to that user. IsiX provides a complete set of report template completely customizable in the server options, so when the doctors saves the report, this is sent automatically to IsiX Server where it will be processed and included in your PACS as DICOM. Furthermore we can use the great OsiriX Web Server to include the report and new images in your OsiriX central server, so the images and documents are availabe for authorized users in the OsiriX Web Portal. Furthermore we have been developing not only OsiriX plugins but some Applescripts applications or Cocoa applications that will boost your workflow.

• Mail4warder. For example, we designed and application that delivers emails to a specific email account or other depending on the time of the day. This is really useful if you want to receive mails in a general email account, let's say This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it but depending on the day and time you want Alice to receive to her email account (alice @ turyon.com, or alice @ whateveritis.com...) while two hours later you want all incoming mails to info @ turyon.com reach Bob at bob @ whateveritis.com. Really useful to for coordinating people without flooding emails or giving your email account details. All the mails are completely redirected automatically. Just define your emails accounts and the schedule for every one. Really simple. Integrated with Apple Mail application.

• As well we have developed our own iPad version for HoruX, the RIS for OsiriX from Turyon, we can do the same for you. That's the reason we now provide the iOS in-house design and development service. Now your RIS, HIS or any other management application of your company can be delivered to the iOS platform. Can you think all your data (images, reports, invoices...) available at your iOS device? We make it possible. Now you can have your own iTune App Store.
